There’s a wedding coming up in less than two months in our family! My little bro is getting married and I’ve been super busy as a bridesmaid, mother of the flower girl and ring bearer and as the table arrangements stylist.
This past weekend was the Beach Themed Bridal Shower for my future sister-in-law, Crystal. The party was a fabulous collaboration between the bridal party and Crystal’s mother. Here’s a peek at the festivities!
I volunteered to create the beach-y table arrangements. To keep costs down, I bought shells and lanterns on clearance at the end of the Summer. I also found several of the fish bowls at the thrift store!
And with the candles lit.
I also put together a flower arrangement for the cake table. I really wanted to use blue and green hydrangeas to echo the beautiful colors of the sea glass. Alas the hydrangeas were not in the cards. After visiting 4 different floral departments I ended up with a cream and rose color scheme. (Many thanks to my sister for sharing the shopping odyssey with me!)
I “made it work” by incorporating the burlap and shells from the table arrangements.
We also had a fun beach cake created by the maid of honor’s friend.
The restaurant had a funky retro peacock chair for the bride. Olivia thought it was the perfect princess throne for sure!
Here’s the bride making her entrance! SURPRISE! (That’s my brother too. He helped us with the surprise.)
We also took advantage of the opportunity to snap a pic of all three sibs in on place!
Can you tell we’re related?
Congratulations to Crystal and John!
